Looking to Strengthen Your Career and Financial Future? Apply Now!  The YWCA Southern Arizona is accepting applications for YWORKS S.T.R.I.V.E. 2nd Generation English Cohort. 

Our 10-week, 20-session cohort is designed to help participants develop a strong career and financial wellness foundation, boosting confidence and reducing stress, including key components in increasing earning potential and breaking cycles of generational poverty and stress-related health challenges.

You will develop leadership skills while learning different concepts that will empower you to make informed decisions and advance your career and financial goals, such as

• Learning essential career skills like customer service, applying transferable skills, resume writing, & Interviewing
• Basics of budgeting, saving, credit, salary, and wages
• Understanding how mental health/trauma impacts finances
• Creating awareness in our decision-making process 
• Gaining access to one-on-one peer coaching

Applications open:  July 18, 2025
Interviews begin:     August 18, 2025 - September 5, 2025
Cohort begins:        September 8, 2025 
Class Schedule:      Every Monday and Wednesday, 3-5 PM
Graduation:             November 17, 2025
