Tech-X-Perience offers eighth-grade students and their families an inside look at what makes Meridian Technical Charter High School (MTCHS) a unique and valuable option for those considering applying to this charter school.
On November 3rd, students will participate in a hands-on project led by MTCHS technical teachers and students in areas such as programming, IT, media, and electronics. While students explore our labs, parents and guardians will attend an informational session with administrators to learn about the application process, school culture, and career-focused programs.

You are invited to attend the Idaho Innovation & Tech Forum in North Idaho, hosted by the University of Idaho in partnership with the Idaho Technology Council. We welcome tech professionals, tech companies, startups, investors, stakeholders, and tech enthusiasts to join the conversation around innovation and the Idaho tech ecosystem. This event is free to attend, but registration is required as seats are limited.
Join us for the Idaho Pitch Student Mentor Meetup, kicking off the morning with small-group conversations between students and tech/business leaders and mentors. This will be followed by a keynote address from Diane Temple of the Idaho Technology Council, discussing “How Idaho Can Lead in a Digital Future.”
We will also host a Fireside Chat: Industry & Academia in Action, along with Innovation Lightning Talks to close the morning—fast-paced and inspiring presentations that highlight bold ideas and collaborative breakthroughs.
iGameUSA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, invites the Idaho community to join a watch party for the Esports Research Network Academic Presentation, hosted online Thursday, November 14th at 3:30 p.m. Mountain Time. The presentation will be delivered by Gina Johnson, also known as IdahoGamerGirl, and will run approximately 25 minutes.
This free, community-wide event is open to everyone—whether or not they consider themselves gamers. Schools, teachers, nonprofits, and local businesses such as sports bars, bowling alleys, and salons are especially encouraged to tune in and host watch parties. The goal is to explore the impact of esports on Idaho’s economy and culture while gathering feedback on the development of The Co-Op, a community esports and innovation space led by iGameUSA.
About The Co-Op
The Co-Op is designed as more than a gaming venue. It provides a hub where young people can socialize indoors, engage in healthy play, and develop leadership skills. Through the use of video game simulations, , industry software, community courses, and creative machines like 3D printers, CNC, lasers, etc., participants can explore entrepreneurship, learn about career trades, and transition their skills into real-world opportunities.
For nonprofits, The Co-Op offers a fundraising and program coordination platform that strengthens community partnerships. Early adopters can get free rent. All members can access our Foundation Center Subscription. The project emphasizes outdoor exploration, youth empowerment, and economic opportunity through gaming as a bridge to broader life skills.

High Tech Connect is ITC’s monthly networking event specifically designed for tech professionals and those in tech-adjacent fields. Hosted at ITC Member organizations, this informal gathering takes place on the last Tuesday of each month from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Interested in being a High-Tech Connect host? Choose your preferred month, fill out the LINKED FORM form and email it to Betsy@idahotechcouncil.org. Gold level members and above get first choice of dates each year. Dates are filled first come first serve and priority selections by premier members must be made before December 31st for the following year.
ITC will create personalized marketing content for the event, create and maintain event registration and market the event through their multiple marketing channels.
The host business provides food & beverages and 2 door prizes. Mid-point of the event (6 pm) a representative from ITC will introduce your business. The host business will then have 5 minutes to promote their business to a captive audience and announce door prize winners.
COST? Sponsorship fee is $250 Host business is welcome to add another co-sponsor to the event as long as the co-sponsor is a member in good standing of the ITC or are providing food/beverages.
