Another year at the Senior Thrift Store has come to an end and I would like to thank everyone who helped us have a successful year. To the Director, Magdalene and the Senior Board Members who have supported us. To all the people from far and near who have generously donated items. Because of you we are able to keep inventory on our shelves. I would also like to thank Judy, Penny, Doc and Cheryl who are our cashiers. I can always count on them to be there. To Dana who does an amazing job with the books, toys, puzzles, etc. To Kathy Fee who does all the linens, bedding and is my “fixer.” If I need something glued, repaired or put together, she is my go-to person. A big thank you to the “worker bees” Robin, Sherry, Marianne, Kathy B., Sue, Leslie and Rebecca....they never slow down. To Brandon and Dave who drop by and help carry in boxes and do the jobs that are difficult for us. To Gail who is my jewelry expert and repairer. Last, but not least, a huge thank you to Patsy who sits in her corner and goes through endless bags of clothing, shoes, etc. She also faithfully comes in every Saturday and helps me and is always on call. I want to thank all the customers who shop at the store. We
appreciate you. My biggest thank you goes to my God and Savior who has kept me going at 83 years old, and I am looking forward to another great year.
