A FEW THOUGHTS

A few thoughts on Mr. W's letter. The voter fraud cases you mentioned were both Dems and Republicans. The right-wing Heritage Foundation claims 1,584 instances of voter fraud in US federal elections from 1982 to 2024 (42 years). This equates to about 0.00003% of ballots, or three one-hundred-thousandths of one percent. In other words individual voter fraud is almost non-existent. Trump and Republicans rail and scream about widespread voter fraud because they know people like you will believe them, but they know it's a lie. No election outcome in the U.S. has ever been altered by individual ballot fraud. DOGE has found ZERO voter fraud, and to date, the only fraud or waste that DOGE claims, have been fact-checked and found INVALID. The real fraud is allowing Musk and his drug-pickled brain access to our private information, bank accounts, health records, and anything else he wants (because TACO man wants Musk's money).
However, there is another type of fraud that is rampant in the US, and which led to the election of George H. Bush, when his brother Jeb purged thousands of voters from the Florida voter rolls without basis before the election. Purging of voter rolls, requiring ID or proof of birth which many people don't have, intimidating voters at the polls, threatening election workers, closing polling stations and then criminalizing giving water to voters in day-long lines, and gerrymandering – these are the TRUE voter frauds.
You mention “Democrats lack of fiscal responsibility, putting this nation in $37 trillion in debt”. WRONG again. Two-thirds of the national debt is from Republican administrations, one-third from Dems – WHICH IS TWICE AS MUCH. You didn't notice that the BBBill the Rs just passed will add $2.7 - $5.3 TRILLION to the debt over 10 years? (while starving and killing millions of Americans). It is now estimated that DOGE cuts will actually COST the US $135 billion, not including lawsuits, which are coming. The National Park Service costs taxpayers $3.5bn annually to manage, yet generates more than $55bn in revenue. A $1 increase in spending on the IRS's enforcement activities results in $5 to $9 of increased revenues. Yet DOGE is decimating these. Trump dismissed 19 inspectors general whose jobs are rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse at government agencies. If their goal is to save money and reduce fraud, why do this?
Just today, in a nearly 60-page report, the ranking member of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee, outlined in detail that the IGs Trump fired had identified billions of dollars MORE in potential savings than DOGE has even claimed (erroneously) to save.
This is what happens when educated, truthful, conscientious government employees do their jobs to the best of their abilities, as opposed to the deceitful, unqualified, self-seeking billionaires club now trashing and looting our country for their own gain. We have a clear choice.
