Hi Jan,
Pat and I read, with interest, your article about grizzly bears being able to run fast. 30 mph in Yellowstone was mentioned, I think.
In 1969 we clocked a mother grizzly with two cubs at 45 miles an hour through a row of willow bushes as we drove out of Mt.McKinley national park.
Grizzlies must be faster in Alaska than the ones in Yellowstone or maybe or maybe bears could run faster in those days?
Keep up with the interesting articles.
Sincerely,
Randy Church

A group of barren islands near Antarctica were swept up in Trump's trade war and slapped with a 10% tariff. The penguins are in negotiations right now. In reality Madagascar, one of the poorest nations in the world with a gross domestic product per head of just $500 - meanwhile faces a 47% tariff on the modest $735 million of exports of vanilla, metals and apparel that it did with the U.S. last year. Presumably they won't be buying any Teslas. Brazil warned U.S. of auto tariffs. When Brazil hiked trade barriers in its auto market over a decade ago, the government promised more local manufacturing, reliable jobs and better cars. Instead car makers opened and then shuttered factories, shredding jobs and slashing production. Brazilians routinely pay 50% more for the same models as regional peers today with technologies often lagging behind global markets. All the Kings men and all the Kings horses couldn't dissuade the Dumbity from cancelling the tariffs. Meanwhile Sheriff Noem left her gun at home when she went to a luncheon and got her purse snatched with $3300 in it. I guess it was her turn to buy. Down the street Secretary Hegseth is so excited about his new job, he can't wait to tell anybody what he is doing.

Editor,
I congratulate the Trump Administration on their haphazard way (using a billionaire to go after hard working government employees with a chainsaw and a Hitler salute). But almost on Day 1 of his administration he fired 17 Inspector Generals. Duh Inspector generals go after WASTE, FRAUD, AND ABUSE. They are effective and thorough, follow the rule of law and are humane. So was Trump lying to us. Does he always lie? “We will see what happens”.
Another thing that bothers me is there are thirteen billionaires in Trump's cabinet who stood behind him at the inauguration. Were you able to hand off a Mil to elect the most corrupt politician in American history? Most billionaires get that way by having sharp elbows. Sharp elbows are not good for working folks. These guys do not care about the price of eggs because most have would not lower themselves to go into a grocery store. BILLIONAIRES DO NOT CARE ABOUT You!!
