Join SBTS on Friday, July 11, through Sunday, July 13, 2025, for our fun-filled Epic Weekend at Packer Saddle in the mountains above Downieville, where the food and beer are covered for our beloved SBTS volunteers. RSVP sooner than later as these “sell-out”!
The weekend festivities include: sleeping under the stars, riding the fine trails of Downieville, hiking, and a lot of digging in the dirt! You do not have to be a member to participate. We will be meeting at the Packsaddle Campground, on the Sierra Crest. Google Map.

Weekend Schedule:
The event officially kicks off Saturday, but many will arrive Friday to set up camp. On Saturday, plan on arriving between 7:00 and 8:30 am to get signed in for trailwork. You do not need to camp to come work, feel free to come just for the day! Organized group adventures will be offered.

Gold Discovery Day would not happen without all of our AMAZING volunteers! We are starting to organize all of the fun and activities. Please fill out the form and let us know how you would like to help out this year!
Schedule:
Set up will be July 18th from 8-3 (or anytime you can come help)
Breakfast is Saturday from 8:00-10:30
Venues/Activities will be from 9:00-3:00
Sierra Smokeshow will be there to sell lunch from 11:30-2:00ish
Clean up will be 3:00-4:00 and some on Sunday if needed.
