Join us every 1st Monday of the month for one of the most critical elements of running a successful business (and life!)
FINANCES.

This month's session we will be diving into business financials: past, present, and future, presented by Sharon Poppell, CPA and Nate Schrandt, CPA with Executive Allies.

Running a business involves so many moving parts and managing a business requires the knowledge of what those parts are, what they are doing, and what they will do for you in the future. The same is for another resource - the dollars that come in and out of your business. Having accurate knowledge of the past will help you make decisions that will impact the future performance of these resources. Finance and accounting relate to every business we can help every business owner understand what lies behind their numbers.

In 60 minutes, we will cover:
1. The basic financial reports (balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and statement of cash flows),
2. Business Budgeting, and
3. Cash flow forecasting.
“If you want to understand today, you have to search yesterday.” – Pearl Buck
We hope to see you there!
Sharon and Nate bring a wealth of knowledge through over 32 years of combined experience in the accounting industry. During these years, they have guided companies through process improvement, strengthening internal controls, and the identifying and tracking of KPIs needed for growth.

They have worked with companies in agriculture, construction, healthcare, and SaaS, and have done everything from payroll to month end close to the preparation of GAAP compliant financial statements. We serve our clients by truly listening to their needs, understanding the unique facets of their industry, introducing new technology, and applying best practices learned over time.

...Or MAYBE She's Got a SOLID Planning.
Join us every 1st Monday of the month for one of the most critical elements of running a successful business (and life!)

FINANCES.
Whether you need to learn about credit, projecting & managing expenses, preparing for the unexpected, or, just simply need a clearer understanding of how to pay yourself, we will cover ALL the ins, outs, and upside-downs of finances so you can best position yourself and your business for financial success and sustainability.

THIS MONTH'S SESSION is presented by Nicole Bolton and Angela Albers of Northwestern Mutual.
"Maybe She's Born With It. Maybe She Has Solid Planning" will take us on a walk through the stages of business planning to create a solid foundation and grow wealth.

About the presenters:
Nicole loves to figure out how things work and then make them better. Guess that explains why she became an engineer. After landing in Boise with her family, she made a left hand turn (easy for her, as she’s left handed) and took the ultimate step to make things better for others. Comprehensive financial planning. That’s what Nicole Bolton brings to her practice at Northwestern Mutual. Engineering a better financial future for her clients by modeling their dreams and goals for themselves and their business. Financial planning is an equation and she works with each client’s variables to make financial wealth their end result.

Angela loves to help her clients develop an approach and path to your financial goals and dreams that’s right for them, their business and their family. She comes to the table with over 17 years of combined experiences in both the financial planning industry and as a CPA and works with established business owners and high level executives making $200,000/year and more. She understands the delicate balance between running a home and running a business...especially a business that needs cash flow. She loves to listen to her clients, customizing a financial plan that gets them excited to build wealth.
