From salting to smoking to canning to honey-soaking, learn the many practical, research-based ways to keep harvests fresh, flavorful, and safe year-round.
Presented as part of the “Nature Therapy” series by FCC and Portland Parks & Recreation, the session blends tradition with modern science. Participants will learn how to reduce waste, stretch their food budgets, and savor seasonal bounty long after harvest.
