| David Davis Bimonthly Meeting, Carlin Camp 25, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW). SUVCW is the heir to the old Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.), the main Union veterans’ organization, which at one time included Mitchel Post 69 (Reno) and South Mountain Post 117 (Loyalton). We are involved with historical research and presentations on Civil War and related topics, representing Civil War veterans at veterans' events, and keeping alive the memory of the sacrifices these people made as soldiers keeping the country together between 1861-1865 and their patriotic activities as veterans after the Civil War. more info... | 02/12/12 | 1 pm | David A. | Donkey Basketball Tickets are available from any track team member or from Sue Gressel (913-3573). Advance sale tickets are $8 adults, $6 students (grades 7-12), $4 child (5 yrs. - grade 6). Children under 5 are free with an adult. This has been a fun-filled, action packed event and is a fundraiser for the Track Team. We hope to have a great turnout this year again. Teams will be made up of LHS Basketball players, cheerleaders and adult members of the community. There will be a cake raffle and 3 point contest, as well.
