On The Grow

Welcome to the first edition of our monthly newsletter, On the Grow! It is specifically designed to help Chamber executives and leaders build their organization, especially in these times of challenge and change.

The bonus will be the added tools, templates, tips and tricks you can share with your members along the way. But, this newsletter is designed for leaders only. And, it’s driven by one question and one question only, “What will serve the best of what Chamber leaders need and want?”

There is a tremendous amount of fear in the different types of professional community organizations. Whether it is a Chamber of Commerce, a professional association or a non-profit organization, we live in a different world today. In the past, our members wanted to be a part of a community. Loyalty played a big part in whether or not members renewed their dues. It was a commitment to civic loyalty, pride and promotion.

The times? They are a changin’. And you better change your mindset if you are to stay relevant in today’s marketplace. Here is the good news….

There never has been a better time to be in business. There has never been a better time to be a part of a community-type organization. However, it will require you and your team or board of directors to be more creative and innovative than ever before. The game has changed and your response will determine whether you survive or thrive in the coming years.

Over time, we will introduce you to concepts, strategies, ideas and tips that will help you and your organization move forward in a spirit of success, not a downward spiral of survival. We’ve never been more excited about what the future holds. The possibilities are endless and the future looks bright.

No matter where you are or what your current reality is, there is hope for a better and brighter future ahead. But, it will require you to think differently, be more focused, and take action in a bigger and bolder way. Here is our new view on success.

“Success is not determined by your results. Success is determined by your momentum and your momentum is fueled by how you feel. And how you feel is determined by the consistent daily application of the best you have within you.” - Mark LeBlanc
