 Gold Lake Gold Lake is at the summit of Gold Lakes Road, which starts south of Graeagle & ends up at Bassett's Station near Sierra City. Miles of hiking trails and lakes abound, all within a short distance. Among the amenities are camping, horsebackriding, boating, fishing, etc.  Eureka Peak On the California State Seal, this view of Eureka Peak is northwest of Graeagle.  Mountain Flowers Starting in late May/early June, wildflowers abound wherever your hike takes you, like these Lupine and Indian Paintbrush.
