Thursday October 22 at the
Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum you'll have the opportunity to hear from some "Experts From Right Here" on how to compete against the
members of the ConglomoCom family, worldwide.
We thought about bringing an
"Expert from Afar" and just said, "Nah, why?"
Starting at 3:00pm Gary Oppedahl will kick off the forum with a recap of City Successes since last November's KeepItQuerque Luncheon.
Representatives from Baillio's, Bookworks and Sport Systems will talk about how they've been able to to stay alive - and even thrive - through the recession and through the much longer onslaught of National and Global Competitors.
We haven't finalized the afternoon's hors d' oeuvres menu yet - but Albuquerque Restaurateur Jim Schumacher of
The Cooperage and Scarpa's is the man in charge.
Oh, and there will be adult beverages available, so make sure you're ready to put on your crafty, creative, competitive cap and join the conversation - this could be the beginning of something BIG!
