Deadline Looms for 2nd Annual KeepItQuerque Directory Project

All members have until March 30th to pledge online at https://www.mainstreetcrowd.com/projects/help-abq-keep-179m-again/; whether you have your friends pledge at $10 to get a "KeepItQuerque - I do!" button, or if you pledge at $125 to renew your membership and get a "KeepItQuerque" T-shirt this is the best opportunity to support KeepItQuerque's efforts to drive business into your store and, in doing so, strengthen the fabric of our community.

Since 2004 KeepItQuerque has printed a Member directory to complement our incredibly robust Website.

In most years 5,000 or so directories have been distributed through member organizations each year, with no real means of tracking how many directories were actually used before becoming obsolete.

Over 100,000 directories were placed in mailboxes throughout Albuquerque last year thanks to the Contributions to the Crowdfunding project on Main Street Crowd. Using conservative figures your membership directory was seen by as many people as had previously been printed.

The KeepItQuerque message abou the "10% Shift" had an impact, many more folks are aware of the "Buy Local" role in assuring the Albuquerque Aree economy is healthy, and they know to look for our logo.



For 2016 we hope to share our Official Status as the City of Albuquerque's "primary voice for buy local."  Sure, anyone can put a sign in the door that says "Come in, we're local," but only busiensses vetted by KeepItQuerque as being owned and operated by folks who live and breathe in our area can have a KeepItQuerque sign!

We also want to have folks download our mobile app.  Imagine if everyone had - at the tap, swipe, and click of an app directoins to your storefront, could look at your menu online and call for reservations or delivery!
