The Food and Ag Policy Group is encouraging the use of Local Ingredients in our schools and other institutions while simultaneously supporting the growers, thus creating a system where demand and supply go together.
Indeed, restaurants like B2B Bistronomy and KeepItQuerque member Slate Street Cafe can often tell you the name of the ranch where their beef coms from - or the name of the farmer whose produce is in the salad.

Harvest Dinner to be held at Farm & Table; "Gourmet fare combines with good-cause fundraising for the annual Harvest Dinner of the Rio Grande Agricultural Land Trust.
