Your Independent Business Alliance is a 501c-6 organization.
That means we're non-profit and Member Supported.
This year we've had great participation by our Board of Directors, by member businesses who've participated in our
Civic Economics Study, by members who've joined us on the radio and TV to talk about why "buy local" is important to our community, and by member businesses who've worked within our limited budgets to produce our events.
Some of our most critical participation has been from new members who joined via our Main Street Crowd Directory project, helping us get our brand, our mission and our membership into over 100,000 homes!

is to the area economy.
With your help
KeepItQuerque has made some great strides. We've become a source for journailsts on questions about the impact on our community of purchase decisions, of employment impact and other questions about the "multiplier effect" of local spending. We've been invited to participate in discussions about policy, and have even been asked to allow candidates for office to address our membership!
As the song asks "Where do we go from here?" What kinds of initiatives are important to you? What do you want more of? Less of?
In just a few weeks we'll put out the nominations for next year's open Board of Direcotors Positions and we hope you'll nominate people who are Passionate Lovers of Albuquerque and Local.
