In the last year we've focused on increasing our awareness among civic and business leaders as well as raising awareness of the benefit to our ecoomy when consumers make the "10% Shift" to buying local.
With our new Directory in 105,000 homes, our new Mobile App (on iPhones and Android devices) and the increased presence we've earned in the news press your KeepItQuerque - buy local is on track.
Our agenda also includes bringing additional benefits to our members, as well as asking our members to provide consumers with benefits for choosing a KeepItQuerque member business.
Now it's time for KeepItQuerque to take the next steps and you can help.
A new Board of Directors will be voted on before the end of the year and YOU should consider nominating yourself or a worthy colleagu to the slate so you can help us get where we need to go.
You might also consider joining a committee. Right now not enough people are planning our September 17th Luncheon (Save The Date!), recruiting new members, interacting in public markets and much more.
Keep an eye on two things; this newsletter for more informaiton and you and your colleagues who express a pation for local business. Then let's put them together to improve Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, Los Lunas, and all of New Mexico.
