KeepItQuerque on TV?

Keep an eye on our Facebook Page; Sam Hufnagel of ABQ CashMob and Clifton Chadwick will join Larry Ahrens on the Morning Brew sometime this week - we'll keep you posted!

322,448 Views of our online Directory!

Your KeepItQuerque.org Member Directory has been "checked out" over 322,448 since January 2011!  Wow!

Based on 39 months (12x 2011, 2012 and 2013 plus 3 months of 2014 - which will occur in two more weeks) that's 8,268 views per month!  Jumpin' Jiminy!

That means - wait for it... - 276 views a day! Holy Manoly!

Is your KeepItQuerque.org Member listing up to snuff?  Have you activated the Traffic Catcher System? Are you linked to your social media? To your Youtube videos?  To your Blog?

Let us know if we can help!

Did you recieve your Dues Invoice by E-mail?

Clifton Chadwick

Ah, technology.

Thanks to the modern miracle we call the web, the 'net, the computer thingy, your KeepItQuerque - buy local has been able to save considerable amounts of money on paper and postage, and together we've been able to keep all that paper out of the landfill!

But we can't be sure if you received your invoice for the upcoming year.

Because we are distributing our Local Business Directory to 105,000 households - or more! - we want to make sure everyone is included and has made their payment by March 31.

The new directory is scheduled to be in the mail the first weekend of May and the deadline for the printer is the middle of April.  In order to assure we've done our best to proof everyone's name and include each member in the best of four or five categories (Business Services, Personal Services, Dining, Entertainment, Recreation, etc.) We need to finalize our list in the first week of April.

That means all past-due members need to have payment in by March 31st.

Please search your inbox for an e-mail from KeepItQuerque.org for you invoice. From there it's easy.  You can simply send in your check or you can use your credit card online.

You may be getting a friendly reminder call from one of our membership committee members, Erica Shelton and Shelly Branscom, or our Executive director, Clifton Chadwick.  Treat 'em nice - they're just trying to KeepItQuerque!

New Article

The Albuquerque Convention And Visitors Bureau sent us a reminder about Councilor Issac Benton's guest speaker, Jeff Speck!

In "Towards a More Walkable Albuquerque" Jeff will share that around the country and the world, cities are changing themselves to become more welcomingto pedestrians and cyclists. This lively talk presents the General Theory of Walkability, what it takes to get people out of their cars and then runs through a full range of best and worst practices currently in use to make cities more walkable and bikeable.

There are no reservations required so plan to get there early on Tuesday March 18.  The event starts at 7:00pm at the Hotel Andaluz and you are encouraged to walk, bike and/or use transit!
